Turkey's sole domestically produced malt whisky, distilled by the state monopoly Tekel on Elgin-built stills from 1963 until production quietly ceased in the early-to-mid 2000s; the brand was discontinued entirely by 2011. Now a collector's curiosity rather than a whisky most reviewers rated highly.
